Background

Who doesn’t like a place which makes you feel home and is filled with people who are willing to go that extra mile to make you feel content? Located in the Garden City of UAE, My Bakes is a group of passionate bakers whose mission is to “treat the customer king size”.

With the focus of providing the best quality products to their customers, my bake has become the “go-to” place for all out there with a major sweet tooth.

Challenge

Our major challenge was to create a brand identity reflecting the true essence of My Bakes. We spent a significant time with the owners, understanding their journey, story, challenges and being a part of the team. With a clear vision in mind, we decided to go simple with the design yet ensuring that it screams out the true spirits of My bakes. We wanted to incorporate a unique design which would then convert to what the brand stood for.  

Implementation

The main strategy was to keep the design simple and at the same time to ensure that the message is rightly communicated to represent what the Bakery stood for. To achieve the same, we created a bilingual design with the Arabic part designed in the shape of a crown which is a subtle depiction of the bakery tagline.

The golden color further adds a royal touch to the design. The golden words are carefully crafted against a darker background allowing the brand to stand out on its own individually. To be a part of this journey was a challenging and yet a great experience.
